I bought tickets to see Willie Nelson for my GF and my parents. My folks took in a Rescue Boston Terrier and they are giving her to me when they come in June to see the Concert. Her name is Snooky. When my Dad was a boy he had a female Boston named Snooky. When we lived in Ft. Leavenworth we bought a female Boston and named her Snooky (the first of the Smith family Bostons). So this is the third Snooky. I am excited and have a lot of cleaning to do in preparation...

I have two new announcements...
#1 Barnes & Noble just gave me 170 shares of limited stock
AND
#2 FedEx just delivered two new frogs to my place from Reptile Depot in California. An Asian Leaf Frog I have named GOBLIN. And a Surinam Horned Frog that I haven't named yet. I have kept Asian Leaf Frogs before and I love their call, it sounds like a smoke detector going off. Surinams are very hard to come by and this one is a beaut!
(hopefully soon I will have a brand new shiney Nephew to crow about too!)

Howdy Faithful Readers...
Here is the latest update in my life:
My laptop's motherboard failed and almost caught fire, time to buy a new laptop.
I bought a new car, a 2008 Pontiac Vibe (I named it "Deerslayer"). Silver with sport wheels and the seven speakers/6 CD changer. I love it so...
Did I mention that I ran over a dead deer on the highway going 55mph? (Hence the name of the car). Spun out and ended up on the left hand shoulder. Just picked it up from the body shop this evening and it's running great and looking fine.
Had a great year at work, and earned a HUGE BONUS! Gotta love the bonuses. Picked up a new digital camera to use on my Vacation to the Grand Canyon. Bought the gf a Sony Walkman. I used some of the mula to buy the laptop I am currently typing on...
Now that about sums it all up...
WHOOPS...
I will be an Uncle shortly and Tif and I will be driving down to Atlanta to meet my new Nephew over Memorial Day!
Now THAT about sums it all up...

OK, here is the latest news...I am Diabetic. Big change in my life. I test my blood sugar 4 times a day and am watching what I eat. I am at a new all time low at 252 lbs. Giving up on sweets is easy, watching the carbohydrates is really hard...
DAVID<~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~DIABETIC!
Last night my GF came over so we could go see some Boston Terrier puppies. I'm standing there and I notice two little white spheres glued to the side of the Asian Vivarium. It seems that Mr. and Mrs. Walenda might be parents. When I noticed it I was dumbfounded. I was elated and sad at the same time. I immediatly knew they were gecko eggs and I immediatly knew that the side of the Vivarium was a poor place for them to develop. I just had my hands at the side of my face and didn't say anything. My GF thought I had lost my mind. It's possible that the eggs might hatch, but it's not likely.
So then we left for our appointment with the lady that had the Boston Terrier puppies. We got lost trying to find her house. Then we got lost again. We finally found her place, it is real close to downtown and not in a good neighborhood. She had three male puppies and their father for sale. The father did not have good markings, was too large, and his snout was incorrect for a Boston Terrier. So I'm not interested in buying him. His puppies were great. The biggest one had great markings and was a lot of fun to play with. That puppy is the one I'm interested in. I'm not going to run off and buy the first puppy I run across. This is an important decision and I'm taking my time...
